What's included
- Soft washing vinyl, fiber cement and painted siding
- Removing green mildew and algae from shaded walls
- Cleaning spring pollen buildup
- Lifting red clay splash stains from lower siding and foundations
- Deck, fence and porch cleaning before staining or painting
- Driveways, sidewalks, patios and walkways
Power washing is also the first step of every exterior painting job we do, because paint won't bond to a dirty surface.

Our process, step by step
- Look first. We check the surfaces, note any damage, loose siding or failing paint, and point it out before we start.
- Protect. Plants are wetted and covered, outlets and fixtures protected, and windows closed.
- Apply cleaner. A cleaning solution matched to the surface breaks down mildew and grime.
- Wash. Low pressure for siding and painted surfaces, higher pressure only on concrete that can handle it.
- Rinse and check. Everything is rinsed thoroughly, including the plants, and we walk the property with you.
The right pressure for the surface
More pressure isn't better. High pressure can force water behind vinyl siding, strip paint, gouge wood decks and etch soft surfaces. For houses we use a soft-wash approach: a cleaning solution does the work and low pressure rinses it away. Concrete driveways and walkways can take more pressure. Knowing the difference is what keeps a cleaning from turning into a repair.
North Carolina grime
Wake County homes collect a lot: yellow pine and oak pollen every spring, mildew on north-facing and shaded walls during humid summers, and red clay that splashes up during heavy rain. Regular washing keeps siding looking newer and helps paint last longer.
Why quality matters
A rushed power washing job can damage siding, flood a crawlspace vent or kill landscaping. We take our time and protect the property. The owner is on site, so someone is always accountable.
When to schedule power washing
The most popular time is late spring, after pollen season ends, when siding, decks and screens are coated yellow. Washing is also the right first step before painting or staining, before listing a home for sale, and after any big construction project nearby that has kicked up red clay. On shaded homes that grow mildew quickly, a yearly wash keeps it from staining the siding.
Protecting windows, vents and landscaping
We keep water away from dryer vents, crawlspace vents and light fixtures, avoid spraying directly at window seals, and rinse plants before and after so cleaning solution doesn't sit on them. Small precautions like these are what separate a careful cleaning from one that causes damage.
Warranty
Power washing services are covered by our 1-year workmanship warranty for any damage caused by our work. We're licensed and insured.
