Older homes near the two downtowns
Around the Fuquay Mineral Spring and along Main Street, and near the old Varina business district, many homes date from the early and mid-1900s: wood siding, porches, brick ranches and some original farmhouses. These houses often have many layers of old paint, worn window sills and porch floors and steps that have seen a lot of weather. We scrape, prime bare wood and use carpentry repairs to rebuild what's rotten before painting.
New subdivisions on the edge of town
Most of the growth is in newer neighborhoods off NC 55, NC 42 and US 401. These homes have vinyl or fiber cement siding, builder-grade interior paint and HOA color guidelines.
